Hi. Am delurking to let you know I can so empathise. We moved house just before Hari Raya and took a couple of weeks to recover. I had wanted to just let movers take care of things but the alpha male that my husband is wanted to DIY. We decided on getting the movers pack and move the big items and the rest we did ourselves. Moral of the story, it can be done! Hope you have a smooth move.

Thanks very much for your interesting blog. It’s always nice to see how people on the other side of the globe live, how they share the same joys and sorrows, what they do in their free time, etc.

I actually have a question about your blog. Would you mind helping us with a linguistic research project? We’re compiling data from various Singaporean weblogs. Aiyoh, you will have the lifestyle I was dreaming of lah ~ wake up 15mins before bell rings, and skip over. Plus pool, plus facilities, plus open space to run… I’m almost jealous of whoever takes over this house.

We are hoping to get $3mil for Hillcrest Villa. But as we’re quite keen to move on, we are open to all offers.

My name’s Desiree.

I am sorry to hear that hubs and yourself almost…almost got your hands on your dream place but couldnt due to unforeseen circumstances.

Though I don’t know you or your family personally, my heart just tore into a gazillion pieces when your son said what he said…”that he’ll just crawl up…”

Anyways, we are looking for a place in that area as we thought of putting our daughter in RGPS in two year’s time.

How much are hubs and you thinking of selling Hillcrest Villa?
