In the midst of the madness that is Christmas, and then a week later, the start of a new school year, the Augustins are moving house.
I am freaking out.
I alternate between “aiyah just let the movers come and pack everything lah” to “gosh we can save so much if we pack ourselves” and “why do we have so much clutter?? throwthrowthrow!!”
So no open house this time, not til Chinese New Year.

Hi. Am delurking to let you know I can so empathise. We moved house just before Hari Raya and took a couple of weeks to recover. I had wanted to just let movers take care of things but the alpha male that my husband is wanted to DIY. We decided on getting the movers pack and move the big items and the rest we did ourselves. Moral of the story, it can be done!
